Bride indulges in furious fight with groom at mandap; video goes viral on internet

New Delhi: The wedding day is supposed to be one of the much-awaited days in one’s life and, in the age of social media, people leave no stone unturned to make it the most special one. A lot of exertion goes into preparing for the occasion. Sometimes, the preparation of a wedding commences almost a year before the scheduled sacred date.
When it comes to India, marriages are often deemed vague without a major arrangement of the dance floor and a little ‘drama.’ The internet is full of such videos showing brides and grooms making dramatic entries, however, this time, a video went viral for a crazy reason.

In the latest video, the groom seems wearing traditional Uttrakhand marriage attire, entered into an intense fight at the mandap. The clip starts with the bride angrily extending her hand toward the groom.
Though the groom and their guests put their best efforts to resist her actions, the bride, who is wearing a beautiful lengha, gave no chill and continued her fight until she completely fell on the groom. As usual, the reason behind the ‘battle’ is not yet clear.
Since being shared on the internet, the video received over 70,000 likes and many comments.
”What on earth is happening here?”, wrote one user.
“They could have at least waited till they got back to the hotel why tumble around in front of family and friends,” another commented.
A third commented, “OMG maybe they should rethink this marriage.”
A fourth sarcastically said, “Well, that’s one way to start a lifelong commitment..”
”Aren’t they supposed to be getting married?,” wrote a user.
