New Delhi: Congress leader Udit Raj on Thursday sparked controversy for his comments against President Droupadi Murmu. Udit Raj accused her of indulging in ‘chamchagiri’.
Tweeting in Hindi, he wrote, “No country should get a President like Draupadi Murmu ji. Chamchagiri also has its limits. It is said that 70% of people eat salt from Gujarat. If you live life by eating salt yourself, you will know.”
Soon after his tweet, BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla hit out at the Congress party saying that ‘Congress stoops to a new low.’
He also said that the language used by Udit Raj is ‘unacceptable language.’
After Ajoy Kumar called President Draupadi Murmu as evil & then Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary used the term “Rashtrapatni” now Congress stoops to a new low! Udit Raj uses unacceptable language for the 1st woman Adivasi President!
