New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday launched a fierce attack on the Congress leader Udit Raj as well as the party for his deplorable & derogatory remark on the President Droupadi Murmu.

Score of BJP leaders tore into Cong leader for his disparaging remarks on the President and slammed his ‘anti-tribal mindset’. BJP also questioned the Congress party whether it endorse his views.

Udit Raj today took to Twitter and wrote, “no country should get such a President” and also accused her of ‘heights of sycophancy’. He also wrote that President says that 70% of the people eat salt produced in Gujarat.

“This is not Sanyog, it’s the Congress mindset,” he tweeted.

The NCW, taking notice of his insulting remarks, has issued a notice to him and is demanding apology for the insulting and derogatory statement against the President Murmu.
