Lucknow: In a dazzling display of excellence, Indian athletes continued their golden spree on the 12th day of the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his congratulations to all the gold medalists, lauding their outstanding performances that have brought pride to the nation.
It is noteworthy that India won three gold medals on Thursday. The trio of Ojas Praveen, Abhishek Verma, and Prathamesh clinched India’s third gold of the day in archery in the compound men’s event.
The Indian archery compound men’s team, comprising Ojas Pravin Deotale, Abhishek Verma, and Prathamesh Samadhan Jawkar, secured the third gold medal of the day. Earlier, the Indian squash pair of Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh Sandhu clinched gold in a mixed doubles event.
At the same time, in the compound round of archery, the trio of Jyoti Surekha, Aditi Gopichand Swami, and Parneet Kaur also won gold.
