New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot invited criticism on social media after he was caught on camera drinking Charanamrit (holy water) without taking off his mask. The incident was recorded at Jaisalmer temple which CM Gehlot visited on September 2. Seeing the video, many people also mocked him on the internet for visiting the temple to play politics.
Notably, it is advisable to wear masks in public places due to COVID-19. It is reported it helps to curb the spread of the virus.
