CM Yogi attacks opposition alliance on 48th anniversary of Emergency

People doing politics in the name of JP and Lohia are with Congress which killed democracy: CM

Gautam Buddha Nagar: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday fiercely attacked the opposition parties for attempting to forge alliance ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on the occasion of 48th anniversary of Emergency.

Speaking at an event held at Noida Stadium to inaugurate/lay foundation stone of 124 development projects worth Rs 1719 crores of Noida and Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, CM Yogi said that people doing politics in the name of JP and Lohia are with the Congress Party today that tried to smother democracy by declaring emergency in the country on June 25, 1975.

He said that on the one hand India has touched new heights of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the other Pakistan that separated from India is struggling for every loaf of bread and will have same fate which the mafia had in Uttar Pradesh because of its misdeeds.

The Chief Minister paid tributes to the memory of all known and unknown persons who fought to safeguard the country’s democracy. CM Yogi said that Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Lok Dal, Janata Dal United and parties that claim to be followers of JP are colluding with those who were responsible for strangling democratic values during the emergency period.

“Samajwadi Party has a long history of extending support even without parties asking for it. In 2004, the Congress people did not want the support of the Samajwadi Party, still the party, the leader of the Chipko movement, supported them”, he remarked.

He said that in the last nine years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a new direction to the country under his visionary leadership with positive thinking.

Furthermore, CM Yogi said that as Kashi with its divine aura is gaining prestige on the global platform, Ayodhya too is shining as new Ayodhya. “Every devotee of Sanatan Dharma and well wisher of India in the world is waiting for January 2024, when Lord Ramlala will sit in his grand temple. He said that India is the only country which has been giving free ration facility to its 80 crore citizens for the last three and a half years. If India’s journey continues like this, by 2027 it will become the world’s third largest economy”, he remarked.

CM Yogi said that in the Amrit Kaal of independence, India is dominating the global stage with two major achievements-getting the presidency of G-20 and emerging as the fifth largest economy in the world.

Perception about Gautam Buddha Nagar has changed in six years

CM Yogi said that people’s perception about Gautam Buddha Nagar has changed in the last six years. Earlier people living in Delhi used to hesitate to come to Greater Noida, but now the situation has changed. Now people from every corner of Delhi and the country want to come to Noida and Greater Noida where the Medical Device Park, Jewar International Airport, Film City and infrastructure facilities are coming up.

Farmers’ problems will be resolved through dialogue

CM Yogi said that solving the problems of farmers is his government’s top priority. “We will solve their problems through dialogue. The anti-development and negative forces should not be allowed to come in between. Those who play with the future of the coming generation should not be allowed to succeed. We will solve all the problems arising between buyers of properties and builders very soon”, he said.

MoU exchanged between Greater Noida Development Authority & NTPC

In the program, Chief Minister Yogi handed over 15 new Bolero vehicles to the Noida Police for the safety of the public. He flagged off these vehicles. Apart from this, in front of CM Yogi, a Memorandum of Understanding was symbolically exchanged between Noida Development Authority, Greater Noida Development Authority and NTPC for municipal solid waste management.
