CM Yogi congratulates entire ISRO team on successful launch of India’s first solar mission ‘Aditya-L1’

The country’s first solar mission was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. After a journey of over an hour, it was placed in its designated orbit. Over the next four months, it will travel approximately 15 lakh kilometers to reach the L1 point.

Lucknow: India’s first solar mission ‘Aditya-L1’ was successfully launched from Sriharikota on Saturday. Chief Minister Yogi congratulated the entire ISRO team on this historic success of the Indian space mission, emphasizing that it symbolizes the strength and capability of a self-reliant India. He also extended his best wishes for the complete success of this mission.

The Chief Minister wrote on his official X handle, “Today the PSLV-C57/Aditya-L1 mission, a symbol of the power of ‘New India’, was successfully launched with the aim of serving the entire humanity. Many best wishes for the complete success of this prestigious mission, which has become the ‘new sun’ of the hopes of 140 crore countrymen under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Along with the moon, now the sun will also witness the power of ‘self-reliant India’. Hearty congratulations to the entire team including ISRO.”

Aditya-L1 will gather as much information as possible about the sun

It’s noteworthy that Indian scientists sent the ‘Aditya-L1’ mission to study the unknown facts about the Sun. The country’s first solar mission was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. After a journey of over an hour, it was placed in its designated orbit. Over the next four months, it will travel approximately 15 lakh kilometers to reach the L1 point.

Notably, despite being several crore of kilometers away from the Sun, ‘Aditya’ will continuously observe it. Efforts will be made to gather as much information as possible about the Sun. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) hopes that, similar to Chandrayaan-3, the Aditya-L1 mission will also be successful in achieving its objectives.
