Delhi Kanjhawala Incident: What kind of accident was it? asks Deceased’s mother

Delhi Kanjhawala Incident: All 5 persons who were present in the car were arrested.

New Delhi:  A day after a heart-wrenching incident was reported from Delhi’s Kanjhawala area on January 1 where a 20-year-old girl was killed after her scooty was allegedly hit by a car and dragged for a few kilometers.

Now the mother of the deceased has claimed that the fateful incident was not an accident and raised suspicion of wrongdoing with her daughter.

The deceased’s mother said she had a conversation with her at around 9 pm when she said that she will return by 3-4 am.

The mother informed that she worked as an event planner for weddings.

She said she received a call from the police in the morning and was informed about the accident.

The victim’s mother said her daughter was everything. She also said she had gone to Punjabi Bagh. The victim had left home at around 5:30 pm and said she would return by 10 pm.

Deceased maternal uncle on the incident

The deceased maternal uncle said his niece was dragged for around 10 meters. Her scooty and body have been found in two different places.

He also said the incident is not only about an accident. He said that after seeing that girl alone, something wrong must have happened to her.

He said the condition was so bad, that after being dragged on, the woman had no clothes on her body and the back side of the body was even ripped off.

What Delhi Police said:

Delhi Police said the woman’s body was dragged for a few kms by a car that hit her in the Sultanpuri area in the early morning hours on Sunday. It was after the woman was hit by the car, the body got entangled in the wheel of the car & was dragged alongside.

All five occupants of the car have been apprehended.
