New Delhi: Delhi Police issued a notice to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and asked for details about the sexual harassment victims who approached him to ask for security. Delhi Police mentioned that they took cognizance of the social media posts and sent a list of questions to Rahul Gandhi. The matter is connected to his statements in Srinagar during Bharat Jodo Yatra.
In a statement in Srinagar during Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress leader said that he asked a girl, who was a rape survivour, if he should call the police, to which she said no as she feared to be shamed. He made the statement to tell the situation of a rape survivour feeling ashamed to get justice.

The Rahul Gandhi-led march, which began in Kanyakumari, was concluded in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, on January 30.
On the other hand, the Congress MP is again in controversy for his remarks on Indian democracy in a seminar in London. BJP MPs are demanding an apology from him and Law Minister Kiren Rijiju even went on to call him a part of an anti-India gang.
Rahul Gandhi responded to the allegations and said that four MPs have laid the allegations on him and he will reply to them in Parliament. He added that he hopes that he will be allowed to speak in the Parliament. In his press conference, Gandhi also raised a question about the relationship between PM Modi and businessman Gautam Adani.
