Delhi Shocker: 15-year-old girl dies after surgery, family says ‘organs’ stolen

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi said the girl’s family had taken the body home without any doubt but later the family called the police and suspected that the girl’s organs may have been removed.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl’s organ was allegedly removed and was ‘stuffed’ with polythene bags leading to her death in Delhi.

After the family’s allegations, the Delhi Police launched a probe into the issue.

The autopsy of the girl was carried out on Tuesday (January 31).

On January 21, the girl was admitted to the hospital following some intestinal ailment.

She was operated on January 24th but was declared dead on January 26, according to the reports of TOI.

The family raised the concern while they were preparing for the last rites of the girl.

Following the complaint the local police the complaint, the body was taken into custody by the local police team.

A medico-legal case was prepared by the Usmanpur police at Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital.

The family also shared the pictures of the body on social media which had gone viral.

The family also informed that the probe will begin after the results of the post-mortem are announced.
