New Delhi: A video has gone viral on social media where a Delhi police sub-inspector is seen slapping her elderly father-in-law in front of her mother and her colleague.
Soon the video had gone viral on social media, prompting the police to take cognisance of the incident.
According to the reports, the incident is said to have occurred on Sunday at the elderly man’s house in Laxmi Nagar.
Following this a case has been registered under section 323/427 IPC.
In the video, the woman cop can be seen slapping her father-in-law multiple times before the policeman intervened.
Before slapping the elderly man, the woman and her mother had a heated argument in front of the policeman, resulting to physical assault.
The accused woman cop is currently posted at the Defence Colony Police Station and is in the middle of a court battle against her in-laws.
