New Delhi: Hash tag Delhi rains started trending on Twitter after Delhiites woke up to dark clouds and rains giving some respite to the residents.
While some social media users shared funny memes on Twitter, while on the other hand there were a few who posted pictures and videos of the rain.
Within no time, #DelhiRains became one of the top trending hashtags on twitter.
Earlier, RWFC New Delhi tweeted, “Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of entire Delhi and NCR (Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida) Narwana, Barwala, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhail, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Kosali, Mahendargarh (Haryana) Nazibabad, Bijnaur, Chandpur, Amroha (U.P.) Mahawa (Raj.) during next 2 hours,”
