
New Delhi: Amboli police station has registered a case against filmmaker Kamal Kishor Mishra for running over his wife with his car after being caught with another woman, according to the cops.
Latter’s wife, who has been injured in the incident, filed a complaint against Mishra under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) – 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others).
The incident took place in the parking lot of a residential society in suburban Andheri (West) on October 19.

A police official quoting the complaint registered by the victim told PTI that the disturbing instance took place when Mishra’s wife came looking for him in the parking area and spotted him with another woman inside his vehicle.
As she move ahead to confront him, Mishra drove his car running over her in an attempt to escape the scene, leaving his wife with severe head and hand injuries. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
For the unversed, Mishra is the producer of the Hindi film ‘Dehati Disco’.
