Ankita Bhandari murder case: BJP expels accused Pulkit Arya’s father & brother from party

Pulkit Arya is the prime accused in the alleged abduction & murder case and is facing strong ire of locals. It was at his resort that the 19-year-old Ankita worked as receptionist.

New Delhi: Amid the rising wave of anger and protest over Ankita Bhandari murder, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday expelled accused Pulkit Arya’s father & his brother from the party.

Vinod Arya is the father of key accused Pulkit Arya and has been a former BJP minister in the state. Both have been suspended from the party with immediate effect.

Accused’s brother Ankit Arya has been relieved by state govt from post of Deputy Chairman in Other Backward Classes (OBC) Commission.

About a week ago, she went missing and police recovered her dead body from near the Chilla canal.
