‘Gau Mata also angry’: MLA brings cow to Rajasthan Assembly but what follows amuses all (VIDEO)

The Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) has created widespread panic in Rajasthan, as more than 57,000 cattles have already died in the state due to disease, while 11 lakh have been affected.

New Delhi: While the lumpy skin disease outbreak – a viral infection has created havoc among cattles in Rajasthan, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Suresh Singh Rawat on Wednesday brought a cow to the Assembly to draw attention of Ashok Gehlot government towards them.

With his unique approach, the legislator tired to garner support & also people’s attention but got the shock of life when the cow forced its way out and ran away from the spot.

The video of the incident, when landed on social media, got widely circulated.

In the video, the BJP legislator can be seen talking to reporters about the viral disease that has wreaked havoc in the state. While the legislator listed failures of Gehlot government, the loosely tied cow ran away from the spot. Minister’s support staff tried hard to keep hold of the cow but the latter was uncontrollable.

A Twitter user wrote, sharing the video, “BJP MLA from Rajashthan reached assembly with cow but the cow refused to participate in BJP’s cow politics.”

While the cow ran away, the Rajasthan legislator is heard saying, “Even, Gau mata is angry with the government”.

Lashing out at Gehlot administration, he demanded that the state government braces for big challenge and makes all necessary arrangements including medicine & treatment available for treating cattles afflicted with lumpy disease.

The Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) has created widespread panic in Rajasthan, as more than 57,000 cattles have already died in the state due to disease, while 11 lakh have been affected.

The crisis is so enormous that even Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wrote to the Centre demanding that the disease be declared a national calamity.
