New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that grand statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose made of granite will be installed at India Gate.
PM Modi shared the news at a time when the entire nation is marking the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
He called this move as a symbol of India’s indebtedness to him.

In the net Tweet, PM Modi said that by the time the grand statue of Netaji Bose is completed, a hologram statue of him would be present at the same place.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi further said that he will unveil the hologram statue on Netaji’s birth anniversary-on 23rd January.
Earlier, PM Modi had declared Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday (January 23), as the Parakram Diwas.
From now onwards, Republic Day celebrations will begin from January 23, the birthday of Netaji and will end on January 30.
Earlier in the day, the Amar Jawan Jyoti flame was merged with War Memorial Torch.
