Health & eye care camp organized at Rotary Ananta Charitable Hospital, with special focus on Divyangs

A total of 262 patient registrations were done under various facilities including Eye Care, Gynaecology, Dental, Orthopaedics, ENT, General physician, Path lab, X-ray machine and Divyang facilities along with free medicines.

New Delhi: Affirming its commitment & pledge for accessible healthcare services to all, the Rotary Club of Delhi Ananta (RCD Ananta) in association with Rotary Club Delhi Central organized a mega health & eye check up camp, this Sunday.

The Free health camp organized at the Rotary Ananta Charitable Hospital (RACH), Greater Noida saw gathering of a large number of people who got medical advice & treatment from noted & specialized doctors at the facility.

Under the free healthcare camp, many patients got their health parameters checked & monitored by trained paramedics while many with eye problems got themselves registered for cataract & glucoma treatment. A total of 262 patient registrations were done under various facilities including Eye Care, Gynaecology, Dental, Orthopaedics, ENT, General physician, Path lab, X-ray machine and Divyang facilities along with free medicines.

ImageThe occasion was graced by District Governor Rtn Dr. Lalit Khanna, who offered support in health facility breaking new grounds. He offered support in setting up blood preservation centre at the RACH and also pledged district grant for the same.

The event was attended by many eminent members of the Ananta Group including RCD Ananta President Rtn Vikas Goyal, Secretary Rtn Kapil Jain, Ananta Charitable Hospital Chairman Rtn Manoj Agarwal and Secretary Rtn Rakesh Jain.

The organizers also organized a bhandara after the health camp, where food was served to more than 350 persons.

Special emphasis on Divyangs

At the health camp, a special emphasis was laid on empowering the Divyang & the underpriviledged class.

A team from Rotary Club Delhi Central, led by Rtn C S Gupta comprising of 5 Rotarians & Technicians donated 2 wheel chairs to the hospital for meeting the requirements of needy & deprived. They also expressed their willingness to open a Divyang centre at the Rotary Ananta Charitable Hospital (RACH), Greater Noida.
