Himachal Pradesh Exit poll: Neck-to-neck fight between Cong and BJP in the hilly state

New Delhi: The results of the Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat Assembly elections will be declared on December 8. Ahead of the results, the exit poll survey by Matrize News predicted a neck-to-neck fight between BJP and Congress in the hilly state.

Below here, we are going explain the party-wise vote percentage, seat share, and vote percentage of men and women in Himachal Pradesh.

Party-wise vote percentage

In Himachal Pradesh, the BJP will get 46.2% votes while the Congress is expected to receive 43.1% votes and 10.7% of others. However, the BJP in the lower area of the state will witness a 47.8% share other the hand Congress will bag 42.1% of the total vote share.  In the high area of the state, BJP is likely to receive 45.9% votes and Congress will get 44.6% votes.

After checking the date of party-wise seat share, BJP can bag 37 seats in comparison to Congress of 29 seats and 2 seats to others. In the lower and higher area of the state, the BJP will also bloom its lotus.

Vote percentage of men and women

The data on the voting percentage of men and women shows that voter turnout in the state has jumped in the state in the last three elections to 75.6%. In 2012 and 2017, it was 72.7% and 74.2%, respectively.
