“If you don’t know answer, repeat the question”: Delhi DoE director’s startling advice to students (VIDEO)

“If you don’t know the answer, write the question… but don’t leave the answer paper blank,” Directorate of Education (DoE) director Udit Rai told the students appearing for examinations.

New Delhi: In a rare and shocking piece of advice to students, a senior officer in the Delhi government has advised them to not leave the answer sheets blank, rather fill it with anything.

“If you don’t know the answer, write the question… but don’t leave the answer paper blank,” Directorate of Education (DoE) director Udit Rai told the students appearing for examinations.

A video of DoE director’s interaction with students has been uploaded on social media by Naveen Kumar, Delhi BJP media cell head.

In the video, the director is also heard giving assurance to the students that they will get marks even if they write questions on paper. He also tells students that he has already spoken to the CBSE in this regard.

Taking objection to such flimsy education model, the BJP leader has demanded action from Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia.

Supreme Court lawyer Ashok Agarwal has also written to the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and demanded action against the officer in question.

“Such a person seems to be undeserving to be Director of Education,” Adv Ashok Agarwal wrote in a FB post.

Adv Ashok Agarwal is also the National President of All India Parents Association (AIPA).
