New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday evoked Hillary Clinton’s remark to hit out at Pakistani minister Hina Rabbani Khar for linking terrorism with India.
While quoting Hillary Clinton, he said that she actually said that if you have snakes in your backyard, you can’t expect them to bite only your neighbours. They will eventually bite those who keep them in the backyard.
He also said that Pakistan is not good at taking advice.
This statement comes after Hina accused India of supporting terrorism in the UN Security Council on Thursday.

At the meeting of the United Nations Security Council, External Affairs Minister also addressed the issue of terrorism in Afghanistan. He also accused the ‘neighboring country’s role’ in exporting terrorism to Afghanistan without naming Pakistan.
His speech also mentioned the 9/11 terrorist attack in New York and the 26/11 Mumbai attack.
S Jaishankar also called for international action against Pakistan to combat terrorism.
