New Delhi: The body of a 26-year-old IT professional was found in a hotel room in Noida. The police suspects suicide in the case. The woman lived in Ghaziabad and worked in an MNC in Noida.
The woman is said to have booked a room in an OYO hotel in the Phase 3 area, where she checked in on August 1. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida) Ankita Sharma said, “She had booked the room in an OYO Hotel on Monday. However, when no activity was observed in the room for a long time the next day, the hotel staff tried to check on her. Later they found the woman’s body hanging from the ceiling fan in the room.”
However, the family of the deceased has approached the police citing foul play in her death. Additional DCP Sharma also told that the family was contacted and the due postmortem proceedings took place, she also told that the police are looking into all angles in the case. She said, “All angles are being deeply probed in the case.”
