Kanhaiya lal murder: Accused thrashed by lawyers outside Jaipur court; cops bundle them into van (WATCH)

New Delhi: Lawyers and other persons present in the premises of NIA special court today thrashed and threw bottles on the main accused of the brutal Udaipur murder case during their appearence in the court on Saturday.

Accused Riyaz, Ghaus Mohammad, Asif and Mohsin who allegedly slit throat of a local Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal over a mere social media post were present in the NIA court today.

The special court has handed over the four accused to the NIA remand. The central agency had sought 14 days of remand from the court.

The accused has been sent to remand till July 12. During the appearance of the accused, the lawyers seemed quite angry inside the court premises, as they raised slogans against the accused.

Lawyers raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ and ‘hang the accused’. The lawyers also demanded the state police to encounter the accused and showed support to the police.

The barbaric killing of a poor tailor Kanhaiyalal on the religious grounds has created an atmosphere of outrage across the country, with people demanding capital punishment for the killers.

Meanwhile, the ruling Congress government is appealing the people of the state for peace and brotherhood.
