J&K: 4 govt employees including Bitta Karate’s wife sacked for terror links

Bitta Karate whose official name is Farooq Ahmed Dar is a dreaded terrorist and is infamously known for heinous & brutal murder of Kashmiri Pandits during the 1990s.

New Delhi: Jammu & Kashmir administration on Saturday dismissed four government employees from service for alleged links with terrorist outfits. Out of the 4 sacked employees, one is the wife of Kashmiri separatist Bitta Karate, who plotted and took active role in killing of Kashmiri Pandits.

The 4 employees were dismissed under Article 311 of the Constitution for involved in anti-national activity. Article 311 provides for dismissal of person employed in civil capacities under Union or a State.

An official statement on dismissals was released by the government, a shortwhile ago.

News agency PTI cited officials said that Syed Abdul Mueed, son of Pakistan-based Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed
Salahuddin, was also among the four dismissed employees.

In a sensational admission on camera, the terrorist had accepted that he killed about a dozen Kashmiri Pandits and the 1st Kashmiri Pandit he murdered was Satish Tickoo, one of the first victims of terrorism.

In May this year, Satish Tickoo’s family had moved court to seek justice over his brutal killing and cited Bitta Karate’s video confession as evidence.
