Kerala polls: Priyanka Gandhi trolled for ‘gloating’ over Cong candidates aged between 20-40

Kerala elections: A tweet by Priyanka Gandhi on Wednesday gave detractors & political rivals a chance to troll her for the glaring error in her post.

New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi has been leading the Congress charge against rival parties in poll-bound states including Kerala, the state which elected Rahul Gandhi to Lok Sabha.

She made frequent visits to Assam to canvass for Cong candidates and has her vision focused on Kerala too.

However, a tweet by Priyanka Gandhi on Wednesday gave her detractors & rivals a chance to troll her for the glaring error in her post.

Priyanka wrote that she is proud of the fact that 50% of our candidates in Kerala are between the age of 20 and 40.

“So proud that 50% of our candidates in Kerala are between the age of 20 and 40. Combined with the wisdom and experience of our senior leadership, they make a formidable force. I hope they are given a chance to serve the people of Kerala so that UDF’s vision can be realized,” Priyanka Gandhi tweeted.

Netizens poke fun at Congress leader

Before politicians could take note of Priyanka Gandhi’s tweet, the active netizens took to Twitter to poke fun at the Congress leader. Many users posted derisive tweets while a couple of them posted information about ‘minimum age for fighting elections’ and sought to school the Congress leader.
