Law Minister Kiren Rijiju’s car meets minor accident, no one injured

No one was injured in the accident. Ramban Police took note of the situation and said that he was driven safely to his destination.

New Delhi: Union Law Minister Kiran Rijiju’s car met with a minor road accident while going from Jammu to Srinagar. However, no one was injured in the accident. Ramban Police took note of the situation and said that he was driven safely to his destination.

On the other hand, Rijiju took to Twitter to write about a construction improvement as he passed through the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Tunnel on the way up to Srinagar from Udhampur. He shared a video and mentioned the improvement of the highways in Jammu and Kashmir just like in all other parts of India.

The Law Minister was in Udhampur to attend a Legal Services Camp. Many beneficiaries of the Centre’s schemes attended the event along with Judges and NALSA team. He interacted with the beneficiaries and wrote about the government’s flagship programs directly reaching them.

This morning, he attended the launch event of the first edition of the Constitution of India in Dogri language at University of Jammu. The event was attended by the Chief Justice and Judges of High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and other senior law officials.

Before the event, he also met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh High Court Justice Kotiswer Singh and Puisne Judge Justice Tashi Rabstang in Jammu. The Law Minister is on a two-day visit of the Union Territory.
