New Delhi: The Legal Era – Legal Media Group organised “Legal women In Law Excellence Awards 2022” on August 27, 2022 to recognize and honour the most competent young lawyers of the country.
This was the 4th Annual Legal Era Women In Law Excellence Awards 2022, held in hotel the Imperial in New Delhi.
The awards honoured the remarkable success of the women of the esteemed legal fraternity.
Mumtaz Bhalla, won the Star Women Lawyers of the year award. She has over 14 years of experience in the field of ligation and dispute resolution.
She is specialized in Domestic and International Attribution.
About Mumtaz Bhalla
She is experienced in the civil-commercial sector, real estate, aviation sector, medical sector and construction. She also has a huge range of experience in civil trial, criminal trial, appeals, consumer disputes, domestic and international arbitration.
She is also specialised in conducting compliance workshops for companies and is a Speaker at various conferences and events.
Mumtaz, is well known for advising and representing several multi-national companies and organizations on appropriate strategies that is to be adopted at various stages of litigation and arbitration.
Mumtaz, also appears before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India regularly. She also appears in various Hon’ble High Courts in the Country, District Courts and quasi-judicial forums. She also appears in Consumer Protection bodies such as National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, New Delhi (NCDRC), State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (SCDRC).
It was in June 2008, Mumtaz started as a Junior to Senior Advocate and Former Finance Minister of India-Shri. Arun Jaitley. Later she handled Dispute Resolution and Litigation at L&L Partners Law Offices (formerly known as Luthra & Luthra Law Offices).
In 2016, Mumtaz became a Partner Designate.
