
Raipur: Amid the political disruption in Jharkhand, liquor bottles have been recovered from a government vehicles waiting for the lawmakers in neighbouring Chhattisgarh.
The MLAs of the ruling UPA coalition arrived in Raipur on Tuesday (August 30) by a chartered fligh, and moved into a nearby luxurious resort.
The Chhattisgarh government vehicle which was parked outside the Mayfair Resort in Raipur was filled with expensive liquor bottles even before the arrival of the visiting politicians.

Hitting out at Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, BJP leader Raman Singh tweeted, “Open your ears Bhupesh ji and listen! Chhattisgarh is not a den of debauchery, who are feeding the MLAs of Jharkhand with the money of Chhattisgarhis. After Assam, Haryana now camp of MLAs of Jharkhand, for these immoral acts Chhattisgarh Mahtari will never forgive you.”

BJP leader, Babulal Marandi, also blamed the Chhattisgarh government, he Tweeted, “Transportation of liquor for Jharkhandi guests in government vehicle. By the way, remind us that in Jharkhand too, the entire network of “transactions” of serving liquor, drinking and “money” arising out of it belongs to Chhattisgarh itself.”

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who stayed back in Ranchi, told reporters that they are preparing a strategy to handle the situation.
Well, this is not the first time that in the last one-and-a-half years that MLAs of Congress and its allies have been shifted to Raipur amid fears of poaching by the BJP.
