Nitish Kumar was sworn in as Bihar Chief Minister for the 8th time at  Patna Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. This came a day after a huge political turmoil in the state, in which Nitish broke alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and formed a new “Grand Alliance” with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and other Opposition parties.

Tejashwi Yadav also took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.

“7 parties including 164 MLAs along with independent MLA in our Mahagathbandhan,” said Nitish Kumar after oath ceremony.

The oath ceremony was also attended by Tejashwi Yadav’s family including his wife Rajshri,  his mother Rabri Devi and brother Tej Pratap Yadav.
