PM Narendra Modi offers prayers at Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand

Prime Minister is on a visit to the Himalayan state to lay the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 3,400 crore.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today offered prayers at Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand. He performed darshan and pooja at the holy shrine.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami can be seen giving a company to PM Modi.

PM Modi can be seen wearing a traditional pahadi outfit at the holy shrine of Kedarnath. The attarie worn by PM Modi is handmade by the women of Himachal Pradesh and Chamba. The traditional attire is known ‘Chola Dora’.

The traditional outfit was gifted to PM Modi during his recent visit to Uttarakhand.

Earlier today, PM Modi had arrived at Jolly Grant airport in Dehradun and was received by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Gurmeet Singh.

He will lay the foundation stone of the ropeway project at Kedarnath.
