Baleshwar Mahadev Mandir accident in Madhya Pradesh: Rescue operation underway

Madhya Pradesh: Many feared being trapped after a stepwell at a temple collapsed in Indore’s Patel Nagar on the occasion of Ram Navmi.

The incident took place at Baleshwar Mahadev mandir at around 12 pm.

According to reports around 25-3o people fell in the bawri. The well is said to be 40 to 50 feet deep, however, there wasn’t much water inside it.

Several people have been rescued and have been rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a rescue operation is underway.

According to reports, the temple is said to be very old and the area is said to be small.

The District Magistrate and other Officials present at the Indore accident side is yet to comment on the incident.
