Mahant Narendra Giri’s suicide note recovered: Big disclosures in letter, top seer was about to kill self on Sept 13

Mahant Narendra Giri further said in the suicide note that he was about to commit suicide on September 13 but couldn’t muster courage and hence postponed the suicide bid.

New Delhi: A day after the death of Prayagraj’s top seer Mahant Narendra Giri, his 13-page suicide letter has been accessed.

The suicide note makes sensational disclosures about what prompted the top seer to take the extreme step. In the letter, Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP) chief Mahant Narendra Giri has blamed his disciple for forcing him to suicide.

The reason behind seer’s suicide is believed to be allegations of Mahant’s link-up with a woman, levelled by disciple Anand Giri. This has given rise to many theories. Was it a fall out of dispute and differences between the guru & disciple, was the latter trying to blackmail Mahant for personal gains?

“I get to know that Anand Giri has made a defamatory video linking me with a woman and is about to release in a day or two. Having lived a life of dignity and honour, I wouldn’t be able to bear this pain. Hence, It’s better to die than to allow sullying of my seat,” Mahant Narendra Giri wrote in the suicide letter.

Mahant Narendra Giri was apparently pained and hurt over the ‘conspiracy’ hatched against him to malign his image. And, he mentioned that too in detail in his suicide note.
