‘Ready to quit as CM & Shiv Sena chief if rebel MLAs & Sainiks want’, says Uddhav (VIDEO)

New Delhi: Amid the political crisis in Maharashtra, Udhav Thackrey will be addressing the public on a Facebook Live. On Tuesday, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut confirmed that some Shiv Sena MLAs including Eknath Shinde were currently “not reachable”. After all the drama regarding Eknath Shinde and around 33 party MLAs staying in Surat, the 33 MLAs along with 7 independent MLAs have left for Guwahati, Assam.

The MLAs, who left for Guwahati, also wrote to governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari that Eknath Shinde would remain the legislative party leader of the Shiv Sena. “Kaziranga is a good place to visit. The area is also receiving good rainfall. Those who want to see nature can go there”, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said to ANI.

Thackrey said this acknowledging that MLAs and MPs are leaving. He acknowledged the political crisis and said that those MLAs should have raised their concerns earlier.

Maharashtra CM also told about the formation of Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance. He also said, ‘We were Opposing Congress and Nationalist Congress Party for 25 to 30 years.’

Expressing his feelings and disappointment on objections raised on him being the CM, he said he is ready to resign from the post.He also kept a condition to it. He said, “But first, I want to have a clear conversation. I appeal to all rebels-  come and let’s talk.”
