New Delhi: At a time when the national capital is still trying to get justice for Anjali Singh who died after being dragged by a car for about 13 kilometers, now Delhi Police informed that a man tried to drag a 19-year-old girl inside a car in Delhi’s Pandav Nagar.
When the girl refused to get inside the car, the youth threatened to throw acid at her.
Police said the girl was injured during this incident.
Following this, she was given first aid.
A case has been registered and a probe is underway said Delhi Police.
Reacting to the incident, Swati Maliwal said when the country is still debating on Anjali’s painful death now news has come up where a man tried to drag the girl inside his car and threatened to burn her with acid when she resisted. The girl has also suffered injuries. How long will this last?

Earlier, a 17-year-old girl was hospitalised with serious injuries after two men on a bike threw acid at her in southwest Delhi’s Dwarka area.
