Manish Sisodia Arrested: Delhi Deputy CM approaches Supreme Court against arrest by CBI in liquor policy case

New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia approached the Supreme Court against his arrest by CBI in the Delhi liquor policy case on Tuesday.

On Monday, Special Judge MK Nagpal decided to send him to CBI remand till March 4 for his further and extensive interrogation.

On Monday, Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers staged protests in several parts of the country. They were seen demanding the release at the earliest

Manish Sisodia was arrested on Sunday (February 26) in an ongoing investigation of a case related to alleged irregularities in the framing and implementation of the excise policy of the Delhi government.
