Masseur providing massage to jailed Delhi min Satyendar Jain is prisoner in rape case and not physiotherapist: Sources

New Delhi: Days after the CCTV video went viral on social media of jailed Delhi min Satyendar Jain getting a massage in the prison, now sources have said that the masseur is a prisoner Rinku and not a physiotherapist.

Tihar Jail official sources said, Rinku is a prisoner in a rape case. He is charged u/s 6 of POCSO Act & 376, 506 & 509 of IPC.

On Monday (November 21), Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal refuted the BJP’s claims of VIP treatment given to jailed minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendar Jain. He said the viral video from inside Tihar jail is of Jain receiving ‘physiotherapy’ and not ‘massage’ as alleged by the saffron party.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that Jain was undergoing physiotherapy because of a spinal injury.

The video surfaced on social media, 10 days after the ED accused the Delhi minister of getting special treatment inside the Tihar jail.
