New Delhi: In Meghalaya Election 2023 Result, the CM Conrad Sangma’s NPP won least 26 seats, followed by a tight contest between TMC, BJP, UDP and Congress.
After NPP failed to gain majority to form Government alone, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Sarma informed that Meghalaya counterpart had called Union Home Minister Amit Shah and has sought his support and blessings to form a government in the state.
He further said that BJP national president JP Nadda has also advised the state unit of the party to support the Conrad Sangma’s NPP in forming the next government in Meghalaya.
