The incident happened when Delhi CM & Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal reached Vadodara city of poll-bound Gujarat today.

While Kejriwal exited from the airport, cameras were waiting for his soundbyte. It was then a group of people of started shouting Modi-Modi.

Arvind Kejriwal was visibly embarrassed with the slogan-shouting and was seen rushing towards reporters. However, he kept his composure and was constantly smiling. Later, his supporters also engaged in slogan-shouting and chanted ‘Kejriwal-Kejriwal’.

It so happened that when Kejriwal was coming out of the Vadodara airport, some people started shouting Modi-Modi slogans but the Delhi CM kept smiling and greeted the crowd with folded hands. Many offered flowers & bouquet to AAP convenor while the shouting in background continued. Later, while walking out of the airport, he asked scribes to join him for a press briefing.

Kejriwal-led AAP has raised the pitch and intensified its campaign for Gujarat Assembly elections, slated in next three months. Today, the Delhi CM is scheduled to address a Townhall meet where he would interact with the locals.

In last few months, Arvind Kejriwal has been visiting the state quite often to canvass for party and seek support in the impending elections. In fact, he has been addressing series of Townhall meets in the state to woo electorate in favour of AAP. In his last Townhall interaction, he spoke with couple of auto-rickshaw owners, drivers & lawyers.
