MONEY SHH: Union Minister gives Sisodia a new name after latter cries foul over CBI raids

Raising the pitch against AAP govt & Manish Sisodia, the Union Minister hit out at both Kejriwal and Sisodia and accused the duo of collectively defrauding the people of Delhi by ‘looting’ the exchequer.

New Delhi: As the war of words peaks between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over alleged discrepancies & irregularities in Delhi’s excise policy, Union Minister Anurag Thakur today gave a new name to Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.

Raising the pitch against AAP govt & Manish Sisodia, the Union Minister hit out at both Kejriwal and Sisodia and accused the duo of collectively defrauding the people of Delhi by ‘looting’ the exchequer.

The Minister said that the CBI’s marathon raids at Sisodia’s house speaks much about latter’s role in gratifying the private liquor licencees at the cost of common man. Further taking a jibe, he said that the Delhi Dy CM might have changed his name to MONEY SHH.

He said that Sisodia is accused number 1 while Kejriwal is the kingpin behind fraudulent liquor policy.
Manish Ji, if your liquor policy was right, why did you take it back? It’s like ‘chor ki daadhi mei tinka’?, Anurag Thakur asked.

He also challenged the Chief Minister to come in front of the nation and answer to the charges of corruption & financial irregularities in 24 hours.

Earlier, Manish Sisodia addressed a press conference and slammed the Centre for ‘vindictive’ politics and also sought to project Arvind Kejriwal as the national face for 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He said that the CBI raids were not about corruption but about Centre’s anxiety & apprehension over Kerjiwal’s rising popularity.
