Moradabad: Video of minor walking home naked goes viral; parents say no ‘sexual assault’

On September 15, Additional superintendent of police (rural) Sandeep Kumar Meena said an FIR was lodged under section 376D (gangrape) and the POCSO Act.

New Delhi: A day after a video of a girl had gone viral on social media where she can be seen walking naked for about two kilometres on the Moradabad-Thakurdwara Road to reach home, her parents have now said that their daughter is having mental problems since childhood.

The girls parents have denied any sexual assault.

SSP Moradabad said that police conducted medical examination was conducted and no sexual assault  was found.

Earlier, the girl’s uncle had registered a complaint of sexual assault & on that basis, Police had registered the FIR.

There were reports that the girl was  allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by five men.

However, in the viral video some passers-by are seen staring the girl instead of helping her. While some even filmed her and shared the disturbing videos on social media platforms.

On September 15, Additional superintendent of police (rural) Sandeep Kumar Meena said an FIR was lodged under section 376D (gangrape) and the POCSO Act.

He had also said one of the accused was arrested.
