Mulayam Singh Yadav arrested for illegally bringing a minor Pakistani girl to India, living with her in Bengaluru

The girl has been handed over to the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office) and a case is filed against the man.

New Delhi: A 26-year-old man was arrested by the Bengaluru police for illegally bringing a Pakistani girl to India and living with her in the city.

The youth has been identified as Mulayam Singh Yadav, he is a native of Uttar Pradesh and he works as a security guard in Bengaluru.

Deputy commissioner of police said that Mulayam Singh Yadav came in contact with the Pakistani minor girl through an online game.

Police said the accused played ludo online. In 2022, he came in contact with a minor girl.

According to reports, he had asked the minor girl to come to Bengaluru so they could get married.

The DCP said the man made the plan to bring her over to India through Nepal in September 2022.

He also said that the couple was living in the labourer quarters at Bellandur police station limits.

The girl has been handed over to the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office) and a case is filed against the man.

The man has been arrested.

An FIR has been registered under Section 7 of the Foreigners Act against Govinda Reddy.

Also, the owner of the house where the couple was staying has been booked under Sections 420, 495, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
