New Delhi: A 32-year-old man working with a Mumbai-based company came up with a flawless plan, allowing himself and his girlfriend some quality time for romance amidst the exotic blue waters in the Maldives. Sounds like a really casual plan? Well, it isn’t.

The concerned person here, an engineer by profession, is already married and the plan consisted of keeping the wife oblivious of his Maldives masti and the extramarital affair as she was reportedly told that he was actually on an official trip to the island nation.

In an attempt to hide his well-planned trip to the blissful destination, he literally pulled off several pages from his passport, not knowing that doing so was a crime and can end him in prison.

Though, he had to shorten the duration of his trip as his wife grew doubtful when he ignored most of her calls and decided to tear up several pages from his passport to cover his little secret.

On his arrival to Mumbai on Thursday night, the airport authorities found pages 3-6 and 31-34 removed from the document.
