It is important to note that Rana had earlier said he would leave UP if Yogi Adityanath’s government returns to power

Under Munawar Rana’s name, many social media users also shared a lot of memes with many saying he must keep his words and leave the state as soon as possible.

”I hope Munawar Rana remembers what he had told.”

”Did anyone seen Munawar Rana? As per his statement, today his last day in UP.”

Sharing a hilarious video, a user wrote, ”Munawar Rana leaving UP.”

Reacting to the comment of Rana, UP Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma had replied to him, ”Munawwar Rana is our elder. I respect him. He is a fine poet. He writes good poetery. But if he wants to leave Uttar Pradesh, I will personally see him off as I respect him.”

However, he had also said he didn’t want him to move out of the state.
