New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today named the mantra for the rise of people’s trust in BJP in the poll-bound state Nagaland.
PM Modi who arrived in Dimapur today said Peace, progress, and prosperity is the main reason behind winning the people’s trust in the state.
While addressing the rally, PM Modi said the Central government is providing free ration to thousands of families in Nagaland.
He said the BJP doesn’t consider the eight North Eastern states as ATMs as the Congress party did. He said for BJP the 8 Northeast states are ‘Ashta Lakshmi’.
Hitting out at the Congress Party, PM Modi said the Cong leaders in Delhi never looked towards Nagaland, and never gave importance to stability and prosperity in the state. He said Congress ran the Nagaland govt on remote control from Delhi.
Talking about connectivity, PM Modi said the work to connect Kohima with the railways is underway. He said once Kohima is connected with the railways, it will help increase the ease of living and ease of doing business. From tourism to technology and sports to startups, GoI helping the youth of Nagaland.
While mentioning about Tripura elections, PM Modi said no incident of violence took place in the state after many decades as there is a BJP government in the state.

The people of Nagaland will vote on February 27 and the counting for the same will be done on March 2 along with Tripura and Meghalaya.
