Nandamuri Taraka Ratna made his theatrical debut as the lead in ‘Okato Number Kurraadu’. He had quite a solid record of his identity. On the same day in 2003, nine films starring him were released. His film’s premiere drew a significant amount of attention.

The very first of the nine movies, ‘Okato Number Kurraadu,’ was helmed by legendary director A Kodanda Ramireddy.

Taraka Ratna was brought up in Hyderabad on February 22, 1983, the son of Nandamuri Mohana Krishna and the grandchild of famed actor and politician N. T. Rama Rao. Nandamuri Balakrishna is his uncle, and his brothers are Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and NTR.

Regardless of the fact that his debut movie was a melodic success for which MM Keeravani received an award, it did not fare well at the box office. With the losses of ‘Yuva Rathna,’ ‘Taarak,’ and ‘Bhadradri Ramudu,’ his career failed to take off. He rose to prominence and won a Nandi Award for his negative part in Allari Ravi Babu’s ‘Amaravathi’ (2009).

He also played a villain in the movie “Raja Cheyyi Vesthe” (2016). He was most recently seen in the Hotstar Web Series “9 Hours” (2022).
