National Capital Weather Today: Delhi to witness light rain and thundershowers

On Sunday, the IMD had predicted that Delhi-NCR and several other parts would face light to moderate rain with thunderstorms on the intervening night of January 29 and January 30.

New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today (January 30, Monday) predicted light to moderate-intensity rainfall in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh for the next few hours.

According to the weather department, light to moderate-intensity rain is expected today in some parts of Delhi during the next two hours.

It also said that the same intensity of rain is expected in the adjoining areas of isolated places of Yamunanagar, Kosali, Sohana, Rewari, Palwal, Bawal, Nuh, Aurangabad, Hodal (Haryana) in the next two hours.

The rain continued in several parts of the national capital on Monday after the IMD predicted a few light to moderate spells of rainfall in Delhi over the next 12 hours.
Also, due to hailstorms crops have been damaged in Rajasthan’s Udaipur.
