Nawab Malik shares Nikah Nama, pic of ‘Sameer Dawood Wankhede’ first marriage; questions his caste certificate

Earlier  on Tuesday. he said that he has received a letter from an unnamed Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) official alleging that a number of people have been framed in false cases by the anti-drugs agency.

New Delhi: Maharashtra Minister and senior Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik has today shared the ‘Nikah Nama’ of the first marriage and a picture of ‘Sameer Dawood Wankhede’ with Dr. Shabana Quraishi.

He has alleged that Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede ‘is not about his religion.’

He said that he wants to bring to light the fraudulent means by which Sameer Wankhede has obtained a caste certificate to get an IRS job and has deprived a deserving Scheduled Caste person of his future.

Nawab Malik said that Sameer got married on Thursday 7th December 2006. A Nikah was performed between Sameer Dawood Wankhede and Sabana Qureshi at Lokhand Wala complex, Andheri (west) Mumbai at 8 pm.

He further said that the meher amount was Rs.33000. Witness no 2 was Aziz Khan Husband of Yasmin Dawood Wankhede elder sister of Sameer Dawood Wankhede.

Earlier  on Tuesday. he said that he has received a letter from an unnamed Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) official alleging that a number of people have been framed in false cases by the anti-drugs agency.

“The letter sent to me by an unnamed NCB official claims that a number of people have been framed in false cases. Panchnamas were drafted at the NCB office. We demand an investigation into this,” Malik had said earlier.

He also said that the letter he received mentions 26 cases in which it is alleged that NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede “did not follow proper rules while investigating the matter.” Wankhede has meanwhile said that all the allegations were false.
