New Delhi: In the Mumbai cruise drug bust case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede and Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik are constantly engaged in verbal exchanges, with the latter making fresh allegations and accusing the former of forgery in personal documents.
The NCP leader on Monday released the ‘birth certificate’ of Sameer Wankhede and claimed that the NCB officer deliberated altered his identity to derive government benefits. Giving a quick retort, Wankhede issued a long statement and refuted all allegations and also state that he and his family were being falsely implicated on false and frivolous charges.
Documents that claim to nail Malik’s lies
Now, a fresh set of documents have emerged which seem to cement Sameer Wankhede’s claims and cast doubts on NCP leader’s allegations.
A leading TV channel claimed to have accessed documents which show that the NCP leader may have been resorting to bogus documents to target the NCB officer. The documents show that Wankhede family belong to Scheduled Caste category and is therefore not a Muslim, as claimed by Malik.
