‘No sewer cleaning if you don’t vote for AAP’: MLA’s open warning to people; BJP tweets VIDEO

In the video that got widely circulated, AAP MLA Mahinder Yadav can be heard purportedly telling locals that he will not get the sewer cleaned if they don’t cast ballot in his favour.

New Delhi: The garbage dump, landfills & sewers seem to have taken the centrestage for the impending Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) polls. Arvind Kejriwal & his ministers have slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led MCD for garbage-filled roads & shrinking green spaces in the city while the latter has been pinning the blame on AAP govt.

Amid the political bickering over ‘who polluted Delhi’, a video of AAP legislator from South Delhi has surfaced on social media in which he is openly issuing warning to the voters and also threatening with consequences if they don’t for Kejriwal-led party.

Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga tweeted a video AAP’s Vikas Puri MLA Mahinder Yadav and tweeted how he was threatening people to vote for his party.

Taking swipe at the Delhi government, the BJP leader further tweeted, “this is Kejriwal model.”

In the video that got widely circulated, AAP MLA Mahinder Yadav can be heard purportedly telling locals that he will not get the sewer cleaned if they don’t cast ballot in his favour.

“If you don’t vote for AAP, I won’t get the sewer cleaned even if gets extremely dirty. I am saying it very clearly,” AAP MLA is heard saying.

With a fortnight to go for MCD polls, BJP & AAP are engaged in bitter war of words. Recent verbal duel over Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s letter bomb & landfills are a case in point.

Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar wrote 3 letters to Delhi LG alleging money extortion from him & also life threats from an AAP minister. This led to political slugfest between AAP & BJP. Saffron party went all guns blazing at AAP dispensation for ‘colluding with thugs’ while the latter called the conman, BJP’s partner in crime to sully its image.

The MCD elections for 250 wards will happen on December 4 and the counting will take place on December 7.
