Now no one can stop women from reaching Vidhan Sabha and the Parliament: CM Yogi

Further mentioning women-related schemes, CM Yogi said that 17 lakh daughters have benefited from the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana in the state, and over 3 lakh girls have experienced dowry-free marriages through the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Scheme

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the Pran Pratistha of Lord Shri Ram is rather a dedicated campaign aimed at reestablishing public faith, and pristine glory of India than merely a ceremony.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Bharatiya Janata Party’s ‘Shakti Vandan Abhiyan’ organized at Jupiter Hall in IGP, Lucknow, the Chief Minister said, “Today, as the entire world is drawn towards Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, you all will also visit the Ayodhya temple. The team will ensure all arrangements for this.”

CM Yogi said that the consecration ceremony of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya is a crucial part of the campaign carried out in the country under the leadership of PM Modi in the last nine and a half years. Guided by the vision of Ram Rajya, PM Modi has devised inclusive schemes devoid of discrimination with the well-being of farmers, women, youth, and every segment of society in mind. These campaigns have been effectively implemented for the benefit of the people.

Yogi added, “As a result, four crore poor families across the country have been provided housing without discrimination, with a significant emphasis on granting property rights to women.”

He further highlighted that under the Swachh Bharat Mission, 12 crore toilets have been constructed. Additionally, the Har Ghar Nal scheme ensures the provision of clean drinking water in every household. He said that for the first time in the country, the PM SVAMITVA Yojana was launched to give property rights to the poor in villages. This initiative became crucial as influential people in the village would previously obstruct the construction of houses for them and seize their land.

The Chief Minister emphasized that, in the past, street vendors were often overlooked, “but today they are being empowered on the path of economic self-reliance by providing interest-free loans. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana, the benefit of free health insurance has been given to 10 crore families in the country, benefiting more than 50 crore people.

“In addition to this, in all the schemes ranging from PM Jan Dhan Account Scheme to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, half of the country’s population was kept at the centre point because they were exploited the most. Under the leadership of PM Modi, the country has presented a new India to the world by including women in these schemes”, Yogi added.

CM Yogi stated that the BJP-organized conferences on the Nari Shakti Vandan Act witnessed remarkable enthusiasm across the state. “After this act, no political party can stop women from reaching the Vidhan Sabha and Parliament of the country.” He informed that women were linked to women’s self-help groups in order to connect them with the mainstream of society for the first time in the country.

He said that the result of this is that presently, 63,000 women of Bundelkhand are associated with Balini Milk Producer Company, which started with 6 women in the year 2019. Its annual turnover is Rs 150 crore while its net profit is around Rs 15 crore.

Speaking about BC Sakhi, he highlighted that the campaign was initiated to ensure that crowds do not gather in banks for money withdrawals during the COVID period. Presently, more than 56,000 BC Sakhis have been selected in the state, conducting bank transactions in over 57,000 Gram Panchayats. These women are earning monthly incomes ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh.

CM Yogi stated that Dr. Ritu Karidhal from Lucknow, who played a crucial role in the Chandrayaan mission, was honoured with the Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman on the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Diwas. Emphasizing respect for women, he pointed out that schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Account, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Matru Vandana, and Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana underscore this commitment.

Further mentioning women-related schemes, CM Yogi said that 17 lakh daughters have benefited from the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana in the state, and over 3 lakh girls have experienced dowry-free marriages through the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Scheme.

“In the interest of women’s safety, the formation of Anti-Romeo Squads at the police station level has significantly reduced crimes against women, establishing Uttar Pradesh as the state with the highest convictions for crimes against women in the country.”

Women self-help groups have a big role in providing the benefits of double-engine government schemes. If they are effectively linked with the various campaigns of the double engine government, then half of the population will play an important role in electing PM Modi as the Prime Minister of the country for the third time in the year 2024”, he added.

Earlier, CM Yogi, the chief guest of the program, along with BJP National Secretary Vijaya Rahatkar, BJP State President Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brijesh Pathak, state BJP secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh, MLC Pawan Singh, and others, offered floral tributes and lit lamps on the portraits of the great personalities to inaugurate the program.
