Sub Major Swamy has a long legacy as many past and current Army officers have conducted their drills at the National Defence Academy under him. It would not be wrong to call him one of India’s finest soldier builders.
Netizens shared amazing replies to the video and called the former NDA instructor inspiring. Many also shared about the experience of their relatives drilling under him.
Indeed, in the finest traditions of the Madras Sappers and the Indian Army. My elder brother and both my nephews also went under his ‘drill’. Respect!

Wow,
Even at age of 100, you want to be part of your job and its culture.
If organisations achieve 50% of such culture they will thrive.
This culture can be achieved if they give respect, learning and pride and a mission to their teams first .— Shweta (@TrustScore_1) October 3, 2022
